Cook was a regular cast member on "This Old House" for nearly 40 seasons, from 1980 to 2020. He was known for his expertise in landscaping, gardening, and outdoor living spaces.
Cook left the show in 2020 to focus on his health and spend more time with his family.
Cook's wife, Kathleen, died in 2010.
Cook is survived by his two children, Jennifer and Andrew.
