Chelsea Football Club has announced that they have opened an internal disciplinary procedure following the posting of a video on social media that appears to show Chelsea defender Wesley Fofana singing a racist song.
The video, which was posted on Fofana's official social media accounts, shows the 23-year-old singing along to a song that contains racist lyrics.
Chelsea forward David Datro Fofana has also posted a message on his social media accounts, condemning the video and saying that he does not support the views expressed in it.
Enzo Fernandez, who was also in the video, has apologised to his Chelsea team-mates for the video and said that he did not intend to offend anyone.
The Football Association (FA) is also investigating the incident and has said that it will take "appropriate action" if it finds that Fofana has breached its rules.
